About the Position

  • We are seeking an investment operations professional that is a goal-oriented, organized self-starter who pays attention to accuracy, timeliness and high-quality work and has an internal drive for excellent results. The successful candidate will be adept at the following:   

Essential Responsibilities

  • Performance reporting and presentations for clients and internally managed private funds

  • Assist with all aspects of Data Management, including data entry in the Solovis Portfolio Management System, quality control, process and system improvements, and reconciliation or resolution of discrepancies.

  • Support firmwide research by generating and analyzing reports related to investment manager, benchmarking and client investment data, including performance, attribution, exposure and risk analytics

  • Utilize manager/custodian websites to monitor client transactions

  • Provide support for trading functions

  • Maintain and update procedure documentation for streamlined processes

  • Actively participate in projects related to current and future initiatives within the firm

  • Assist, as needed, with special assignments and projects and effectively collaborate both within the operations team and cross-functionally with the investment team to ensure that project deliverables are met

  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualities Required

  • Focus on quality control through continuous improvement of processes, accuracy of information, and viewing failures as an opportunity for improvement

  • Must demonstrate initiative, ownership and accountability for work, as well as effective problem-solving skills

  • Strong organizational skills and detail-orientation; ability to meet tight deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to work individually and in a team with a willingness to perform routine work in order to meet team goals

  • An undergraduate degree in an applicable major; minimum experience in a financial services industry. Experience in investment reporting and data management is a plus.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as Adobe Acrobat (Access database a plus)
